It’s the Weekend, Sugar-Pie!

There’s nothing like ending your week/starting your weekend on a sweet note. That’s why God created desserts and late night caffés like Urth to serve them!
After a full day of errands and a pretty thorough workout my sweet tooth was letting me know that it was time to satisfy him. I was already in my pjs and went back and forth a few times trying to decide if getting off the couch, changing clothes, doing something with my bedtime hair (which was all wrapped up), and driving would be worth silencing said tooth. Sure enough, I ended up at a caffé with a friend to share a work-week cap.

I’ve been to Urth dozens if times, and have only had their delicious pumpkin pie for dessert. This time I went for the blueberry pie. It just looked so perfect, but then again all their cakes, pies, and pastries do. My friend had the duchess of chocolate cake, (which is chocolate hazelnut cake).
We sat, talked, grubbed… it was a very pleasant end to my week. A reminder to savor the small, sweet moments.
